To facilitate behaviour change, we need to motivate people. When motivation is high a person can do hard things with ease but when the motivation is low or no motivation the same person finds it difficult to do things. That is why when the person’s motivation is high, we have to engage him or her to build a structure for future behaviour, reduce barriers of maintaining the behaviour and increase the capability to perform the behaviour.
